Değerli izleyicim, bu albümde 2022 Mayıs ayında gezdiğim Adıyaman Şehir Müzesi'ndeki objeleri detaylarıyla görecek, müzedeki eserler hakkında bilgiler edineceksiniz.
Adıyaman Müzesi, 1982 yılında açılmış ve şehrin merkezinde yer alan önemli bir kültür kurumudur. Müze, Adıyaman’ın tarihini ve kültürel zenginliklerini ziyaretçilere sunar. Burada, çok eski dönemlerden Osmanlı’ya kadar uzanan birçok eser bulunmaktadır.
Müzenin en değerli bölümlerinden biri, Kommagene Krallığı’na ait buluntulardır. Nemrut Dağı ve çevresindeki kazılardan çıkarılan heykel parçaları, yazıtlar ve taş eserler müzede sergilenir. Bu eserler, Kommagene’nin hem Doğu hem Batı kültüründen etkiler taşıdığını gösterir. Ayrıca Roma ve Bizans döneminden kalma mozaikler, lahitler ve günlük eşyalar da müzede görülebilir.
Müzenin diğer bölümlerinde, Neolitik ve Kalkolitik Çağlara ait çanak çömlekler, taş aletler ve süs eşyaları yer alır. Bu eserler, insanların binlerce yıl önce nasıl yaşadığını anlamamıza yardımcı olur.
Arkeolojik eserlerin yanı sıra etnografik eserler de vardır. Halılar, kilimler, takılar, tarım aletleri ve günlük kullanım eşyaları, Adıyaman’ın geleneksel yaşam kültürünü yansıtır. Böylece ziyaretçiler, hem çok eski dönemleri hem de yakın geçmişi aynı yerde görebilir.
Adıyaman Müzesi, sadece eserleri korumakla kalmaz, aynı zamanda sergiler ve etkinliklerle kültürel mirasın tanıtılmasına katkı sağlar.
Sonuç olarak Adıyaman Müzesi, geçmiş ile günümüz arasında köprü kuran bir mekândır. Hem yerli hem de yabancı ziyaretçiler için önemli bir gezi ve öğrenme noktasıdır.

My dear viewer, in this album, you will see the images I took at the city museum during our Adıyaman cultural tour in May 2022 and brief information about the museum.
The Adıyaman Museum, opened in 1982 and located in the city center, is one of the important cultural institutions of the region.
The museum presents the history and cultural richness of Adıyaman to its visitors. Here, many artifacts can be seen, ranging from prehistoric times to the Ottoman period.
One of the most valuable sections of the museum is the collection from the Kingdom of Commagene. Statue pieces, inscriptions, and stone works found in excavations at Mount Nemrut and its surroundings are exhibited here. These artifacts show that Commagene was influenced by both Eastern and Western cultures. In addition, mosaics, sarcophagi, and daily objects from the Roman and Byzantine periods can also be seen in the museum.
Other parts of the museum display artifacts from the Neolithic and Chalcolithic Ages, such as pottery, stone tools, and ornaments. These items help us understand how people lived thousands of years ago.
In addition to archaeological finds, there is also an ethnographic collection. Carpets, rugs, jewelry, farming tools, and daily objects reflect the traditional lifestyle of Adıyaman. In this way, visitors can see both the distant past and the recent past in one place.
